Drama & the Dreamer

I always wait for something dramatic to happen in my life. There are these movie-like scenes the mind conceives & as for me, more often than not they are unlikely to happen because of the high-drama content! Sometimes it may be driven by a fear, sometimes by desire. The twists & turns of the so-called 'love-life' makes it dramatic in its own way. There's a kind of immunity attached to the drama. Much of the drama remains only in the mind now. But I still dream, I imagine & I continue to love- every day, every minute and every breath. You know what I mean by drama?

The Dreamers & the Pragmatic

Dreamer 1: Does it take losing someone you loved only to realize it was your first real love? Dreamer 2: Maybe, but I guess I was lucky enough to realize it before the demise of my relationship. Pragmatic: Demise? Dreamer 2: Yes, we broke up. Dreamer 1: That's sad. Pragmatic: Don't worry, you'll move on. No one stops living! Dreamer 2: Probably, but I miss him, I guess he will always be my first love. Dreamer 1: Do you feel like you dont want to let go of those feelings? Dreamer 2: Umm.. kinda, in a way. It's painful, but comforting in a strange way. Pragmatic: You dont make any sense to me. Why would some pain be comforting?! Dreamer 1: Dont you understand? It's all about hope.. Dreamer 2: Yeah, something like that I guess. Hope secretly kept hidden from the world. Pragmatic: You are crazy. Either you do something about being hopeful or then throw all your hope right outside the window. Dreamer 1: Relax, you wont understand. Pragmatic: All I am saying is that you got to move on. Dreamer 2: It's not like I'm not trying. Pragmatic: It's a matter of time. Many years later, this wont even matter. Dreamer 1: But your first love will always be your first love. You cant change that. Pragmatic: Sure, why not? But is that the end of your life?! Dreamer 2: Anything else seems some sort of a compromise. Pragmatic: Stop brooding! Dreamer 2: All i pray to the universe is give me back the love of my past or disguise him in some way for my future. Pragmatic: You dreamers will never learn. Dreamer 1 : And you will never know what it is like to dream... (to be contd.)
